Situated within a residential area on the western side of Winchester, the Sportsman's is a small friendly club, occupying the premises that were once St. Luke's Church, built in 1926. The bar and games areas share one integrated area that creates a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. Affiliated to the Club and Institute Union, the club's ladies have always been full and equal members and are well represented on the Management Committee.
The usual bar games are supported: Darts; Pool; and Crib; and Bingo is played on Sunday evenings. Carlsberg and Carling lagers together with IPA bitters provide a wide choice of beers to members at competitive prices.
